Established in 1997 Vidhya Cylinders Pvt. Ltd. (VCPL) today is an ISO 9001 : 2008 company and one of the prominent cylinder manufacturers in India, having an annual production capacity of around 500 thousand cylinders with manufacturing unit located at Mandideep, near Bhopal (India).

VCPL is one of the major cylinder suppliers to the leading public sector LPG marketing companies in India like Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and have so far supplied over one million LPG cylinders to these marketing companies. It also produces 5 kg cylinders for domestic & other applications. Apart from this VCPL is also engaged in the process of HOT REPAIR of cylinders for the major PSU's like IOCL, HPCL & BPCL.

The criteria for design of VCPL Prefab has been:

• Simple engineering requiring no high skills.
• The elements or the components of the shelters should be in small sizes that can be transported easily even in a difficult terrain and manually handled at site of work.
• The erection should be fast requiring no machinery.
• The shelters should have high strength and light weight requiring less foundation.
• In case of need these shelters should be feasible for dismantling and re-erecting in different location with minimum loss of materials or high salvage value.
• The design should have flexibility and adoptability from a small shed to a posh building as required by the customer.
• Above all they should be durable, comfortable and cost effective.

The old damaged cylinders are collected from the Oil Companies against the Work Order given for a limited period. The LPG Valve, VP Ring, 3Stay Plates and Foot Ring of the cylinders are replaced with new during the repair process.
